Are your breakers code compliant?

DON'T BE FOOLED.

UL certification is critical to ensure breakers are compliant to industry codes.
  • Eaton's UL file contains specific and proprietary assembly information known to Eaton facilities only
  • Non-Eaton entities, such as breaker brokers, are not authorized factories by UL
  • Non-Eaton entities are not approved to open, repair, service or refurbish Eaton products
  • Non-Eaton entities are not permitted to label Eaton products with theirname or the UL label
WILL YOUR BREAKERS PERFORM TO UL SPECIFICATIONS?

Don't guess, buy from an authorized
distributor and know you're safe!

While 3rd party brokers claim to test to manufacturing specifications, they test only to a NEMA standard which may only cover the breaker's ability to trip and / or react to a thermal event.
EATON TESTS TO UL 489 STANDARDS

Covering overload protection, short circuit protection and endurance.
THE BREAKER BROKERS...
DO NOT...

The breaker brokers have no means to test for these conditions.
WHY SHOULD YOU BE CONCERNED?

Counterfeit electrical products are unsafe. They pose a real danger to any home or facility where they may be installed. Counterfeit electrical products also put your health and safety at risk.
HOW BIG IS THE
PROBLEM?

The number of consumer safety and critical technologies seizures made by U.S. Customs increased by 44% in 2011. The seizure of electrical articles account for more than $10M of those products.
